In this video, I discuss how large stablecoin issuers like Tether (USDT) could influence consensus by picking which side of a contentious fork to support.
If USDT market share moves from Tron and Ethereum to Bitcoin, Tether could become a major influence in deciding which side of a future Bitcoin fork is the winner.
The best way to guard against this is to try not to use USDT and USD anywhere. Move yourself and your family more and more onto a Bitcoin standard every day. Sever your dependence on Federal Reserve IRS payment tokens (USD).
